Nitous is a family-led brand built around a love of Italian candy and the families who still make it the right way. Our flagship product, Nitini, comes from Southern Italy, near Naples, where a small partner has been making sugar-coated almonds the same careful way for generations. We bring that craftsmanship stateside without changing it.

The Italian sugar-coated almond is one of the oldest sweets in Europe. A whole almond, hazelnut, or jammy black cherry at the center. A delicate layer of fine chocolate around it. A snow-white sugar shell on the outside that delivers an audible crack when you bite. We took everything we love about that tradition and built Nitous around it. Today our flagship line, Nitini, fits everyday moments. Not just the big ones.

We didn't start Nitous for special occasions. We started it because the candy we grew up loving was always treated like a "big-event" kind of treat, and we wanted to change that. Eight flavors today. More to come. Every one made the careful Italian way, but built for the way people actually share candy now.

Nitous is a small, family-led brand based in New Jersey. We don't make Nitini ourselves. The artisans in Southern Italy do. What we do is bring them stateside, share the story, and make it easy to find them. Every box is a small bridge between two countries.
